Claims “new but has scratches from rolling around in box” which is true but mine came in with some weird green sticky substance on the bottom of the remote. The green stuff you show in the picture is a green melted rubber band. We moved in July 2023 and that is when we found those remotes & others we didn't have in inventory. They had been there 20+ years, bond together with a green rubber band. You should be able to peel/scratch off that rubber band. Our wh or shipping should have caught that when we inspect before shipping. Again sorry about that.

I was able to pop the top open, locate the sieve, restore it to its location, and get the filter to work as expected. Thank you.
