- This is an oversized paperback book. The book is in Very Good, condition and was issued without a dust jacket. The book covers, have some edge wear, rubbing and light curling. There are two, faint ink stamps stating "Half Price" on the front cover. The, top spine end of the book has some rubbing and wear. The text, pages are clean and bright. "Cartoone was the debut album by, the Scottish group Cartoone. The album is notable for featuring, Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin as guest artist." Group members, include: Derek Creigan, Mike Allison, Charles Mo Trowers, and, Chick E. Coffils. "Cartoone were formed in 1967 from a band, called The Chevlons. They toured all over Scotland in support, of other acts such as the Tremeloes, the Merseybeats and the, Hollies. In 1968, the band moved to London in hope of landing a, recording contract. Through Lulu they contacted songwriter Mark, London (husband of Lulu's manager Marion Massey) and showed him, some of the songs they had written. London was impressed with, the band and their songs and took them into a recording studio, to record four songs with just acoustic guitars. London then, took those songs to Ahmet Ertegün and Jerry Wexler of Atlantic, Records, who subsequently signed Cartoone to a two-album deal., They were the first British rock band to sign with Atlantic,, predating Led Zeppelin by several months. - a***s (83)- Feedback lasciato dall'acquirente.Ultimo annoAcquisto verificatoExpected delivery 1/31-2/6. Received on 2/1. Outstanding! I have never received a better packed book. Outstanding! Described as 'Very Fine'; to my untrained eye the book is closer to Mint, than Very Fine. I certainly received at least what I paid for if not more. I would not hesitate to do business this seller again and I would recommend, without question, this seller to any prospective buyer.Close To The Wind An Extraordinary Story of Triumph over Adversity (N° 204031902471)
