Managed by the same team who steers the career of The Avett Brothers, the North Carolina-based Bombadil - Daniel Michalak (bass, piano, harmonic, vocals), James Phillips (drums, bass, vocals), and Stuart Robinson (piano, ukulele, vocals) - produced and recorded their new album, Hold On (March 24, 2015/Ramseur Records) over a nine-month period in 2014, scheduling the sessions in to the spare moments between tour dates. The album is an amalgamation of rapturous harmonies, sparkling instrumentals, poignant songwriting, and layers of imaginative arrangements that show off the band's folk roots, but with traces of funk, country, rap, R&B, and New Wave-inspired dance beats. After an 18 month period of intense touring and songwriting, Bombadil has crafted a record packed with unforgettable melodies, imaginative sonic landscapes, and irresistible harmonies, making Hold On an early highlight of 2015.

    CD came as described inside of a neat sleeve package. The item was unharmed and was stored within its own little CD sleeve. Album art was also included, which will be immensely helpful for when I buy a jewel case for it. Will be buying from this seller again if I see another CD I want.

    I'm hoping it would have been really great but it was a gift that my long time friend evidently never received. Oh, it was delivered, just never received... porch pirates perhaps. C'est la vie, it's only money and we all have so much more of that than any of us really need to survive. Not the sellers fault in any way, the seller is absolutely fantastic, price was good, shipping was fast, and I am certain it was very well packaged. Thank you !
