With exclusive, eyewitness accounts from members of her crew, this book chronicles the dramatic career of one of America's most battle-tested warships., Commissioned in June 1920, the US battleship Tennessee saw service in some of the most crucial and dramatic battles in the Pacific Theater of WWII. Docked on Pearl Harbor's Battleship Row on 7 December 1941, her crew manned anti-aircraft guns and fought back as bombs ripped through her deck. Repaired and re-equipped, the battleship saw service off the Aleutian Islands and later in 1943 went into action during the Battle of Tarawa in the South Pacific. The year 1944 saw Tennessee take part in battle after battle (including Surigao Strait, the last battleship-versus-battleship action in naval history) as US forces worked their way toward the Japanese Home Islands. In 1945 she took part in the attack on Iwo Jima. Enriched with exclusive, eyewitness accounts from members of her crew, chronicles the dramatic career of one of America's most battle-tested warships.

    Brand new Code 100 Atlas flex track as advertised by seller. Well packaged and apparently taken to UPS in the nick of time to leave on the next truck. Was very surprised to actually get it the next day! I usually try to balance the merchandise cost with the shipping and the travel distance, so when 2-4 days was mentioned. and ordered on Friday, I figured to get it Monday or Tuesday . Apparently good karma and star alignment was in play! I would definitely buy from this seller again! A+++

    brand new condition, quality as expected from company, value was good, Appearance of package its self was good and undamaged, but the shipping box was crushed.. not a sturdy box to ship items in and put into a media bag.. Not a fan... But Seller does have a great store and many items with good pricing..
