While I have a hybrid 118lb anvil for blade making, sometimes a small steel block comes in handy for my work table. It's surface is sufficiently hard. When I stamp my logo onto blades, as well as the stamp showing the blade steel used, that's one reason I bought this 4x6 steel block. I loaned my drive on ramps to a neighbor, he lost the rubber that keeps the ramps stable, so using the rubber block cut in two for that purpose. ;)
