This is one of those items that I had been meaning to get for a while, for those trips to the big box store. The vehicle already had the side rails. It was a little tight getting it on the side rails. I would recommend a person on each side with a rubber mallet (gently), keeping it perpendicular as you get it into position. Pay attention to the direction of the arrows, go frontward.
