I guess you can't trust the initial description, you have to read the fine print to get to the truth. It is described in the very first line of the description box. Second, it is chrome. Both metal and high impact ABS can be chromed. Chrome is a plating not a solid. Many parts of your car and home plumbing fixtures are made this way. Put next to each other and you can't tell which is which. And metal rusts plastic doesn't. Once on your car you won't know the difference and will ultimately be very happy. Like 10's of thousands of our other customers have been.

The seller sent it well-packaged and arrived in perfect condition. Seller provided tracking info and communicated proactively. The Deadpool black plastic frame makes for a strong contrast with the RED lettering/images. My wife loves it. I would say it's a great value, a unique accent to her Jeep Patriot.
