They are light, strong, and very smooth. The stitches slide up the polished metal tip, and onto the needle highly polished shaft easily. As the knitting progresses, the accumulated stitches slide effortlessly down the shaft without any tendency to stick or catch as they sometimes do with bamboo needles. She is very happy with them. Excellent product.
