Synopsis
One of Britain's foremost figurative artists, Maggi Hambling is celebrated for her portrait paintings and controversial sculptures. Less familiar, however, are her lively drawings and sensuous Monotype prints. This book is the first to focus specifically on the range and power of Maggi Hambling's more intimate works on paper, and is published to accompany a related exhibition opening at the British Museum in September 2016. The seller was very understanding and gave me a full refund for the damaged book, though it was no fault of their own. Other than the damage, the book was as described, the quality and condition aside from the damaged spot was like new. The cost of the book was reasonable. I would definitely purchase from the seller again.
