Originally published in 1981, this was the first textbook on programming in the Prolog language and is still the definitive introductory text on Prolog. Though many Prolog textbooks have been published since, this one has withstood the test of time because of its comprehensiveness, tutorial approach, and emphasis on general programming applications. Prolog has continued to attract a great deal of interest in the computer science community, and has turned out to be a basis for an important new generation of programming languages and systems for Artificial Intelligence. Since the previous edition of Programming in Prolog, the language has been standardised by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and this book has been updated accordingly. The authors have also introduced some new material, clarified some explanations, corrected a number of minor errors, and removed appendices about Prolog systems that are now obsolete.

    Shipping took quite some time but communication was fantastic and I was even offered a refund because it took so long. Glad to see the item arrived in the end, but very great customer service! The product is in great condition as described. The price was very fair and packaging was decent (it could perhaps be better with some bubble wrapper). Great store, would absolutely recommend and shop here again.

    After waiting 3 weeks past estimated package arrival, I contacted seller and they send a replacement item. Packaging was very basic for a book, with no padding around the book. The corners were slightly damaged as a result, but it's not the end of the world, as it was a good price. Better tracking would improve the experience further. Thanks

    Besagtes Buch kam gut verpackt und ohne Probleme an in der Lieferzeit. Kommunikation lief ohne Probleme. Zustand für ein gebrauchtes Buch schaut es wirklich noch gut aus die Seiten. Ich bin glücklich dieses Buch zu haben nun. Das Konzept finde ich großartig das Bücher bekommen eine zweite Chance für ein guten Preis verkauft und andere eine Freude machen und nicht verstauben irgendwo oder in Vergessen geraten.
