Probably unequaled. . . for the austerity of moral courage and sincerity of conviction. . . .A book which should be read by every intelligent American., The American Portrait of the Artist. - Charles Baxter ""Probably unequaled... for the austerity of moral courage and sincerity of conviction.... A book which should be read by every intelligent American."", - The New York Times ""The pilgrim's progress of a man at once a genuine artist... and a small-town, pool-playing, story-telling Midwesterner."" - Sinclair Lewis ""In the field of literary autobiography, it stands practically alone in America."" - The Nation ""The voice of the soliloquist... amplifies the drama of A Story Teller's Story, as does the persistent theme of escape, from an America of fact and factories, marketing and manufacturing, to the borderless Ohio's of imagination and creation. Part manifesto, part reverie, part romance, it is full of scene-sets, stage directions, vignettes, and 'moments'. An Epilogue replays what seems a never-ending struggle in the writer's life between 'the fanciful' and 'the physical', between the work one does for a living and the work one does to be alive...."" - From the introduction by Thomas Lynch, The pilgrim's progress of a man at once a genuine artist. . . and a small-town, pool-playing, story-telling Midwesterner.

- v***4 (115)- Feedback lasciato dall'acquirente.Ultimi 6 mesiAcquisto verificatoPurchased 5 car Madison rail car set at auction. Received package well wrapped and in original box. Cars themselves are in excellent condition and mostly as described, although I believe they have seen some track time. That being said, seller offers returns so I'm confident seller was told these cars were new by whomever he got them from. The purchase price was excellent so when averaged with a higher than normal shipping fee it turned out to be an overall good deal.
- r***9 (843)- Feedback lasciato dall'acquirente.Ultimi 6 mesiAcquisto verificatoAwesome price on this vintage Italeri kit. Seller shipped it quickly at an average cost. The kit arrived safely, very carefully packaged in brand new materials. It was delivered just as it appeared in listing and photos. It was listed as used but really new in an open box complete with the decals and instructions. The kit also included extras, an Edward Models PE detail set and Check Master's engine kit. I'm extremely pleased with my purchase and I highly recommend the seller. Thanks!#83 - ITALERI ACH CHINOOK GUNSHIP 1:72 HELICOPTER MODEL KIT #054 - NIOB (N° 388261291199)
