The Sony Active 3D glasses are compatible with most Bravia, which is a division of Sony televisions. Sony designed the TDG-BR50 glasses with comfort in mind. Made from lightweight plastic, each pair of glasses has a functional design with blackout sides and simple ear pieces. The blackout sides let you focus your attention on the screen without real life getting in your way. The ear pieces wrap around your head and fit comfortably without poking or pinching you. An extra advantage to the ear pieces is that they are adjustable to fit heads of different sizes. All your friends and family can comfortably wear a pair of these Sony glasses, too.As accessories that work with any home theater system, these Sony glasses take your viewing to a high level. Each pair will automatically sync with your Sony or Sony Bravia television. As soon as you slide a pair on, you can pop in a disc and start watching. As the TDG-BR250 will sync with most televisions, you can even take a pair with you to a friend's home. These accessories are similar to those used in theaters but work best for home use.Sony also gives you a USB rechargeable battery. The rechargeable design lets you charge the battery in just three minutes. After charging, you'll get up to three full hours of use. The manufacturer gives you enough battery time to watch an entire movie or several TV shows.This pair of Active glasses will work with other accessories like headphones, too. The open design allows you to plug a pair into your 3-D TV and wear the headphones while watching. Depending on the model of TV you have, you can even use this pair with wireless accessories.Sony added slightly smoky lenses to the TDG-BR250 which provide users with amazing color contrast. The smoky shade makes every color you see on the screen really pop and come to life. The fast and easy synchronization gives you a more precise and accurate image, as well.The larger design of these accessories is also great for those who wear other types of eyewear. You can slip an Active pair on over your regular glasses and still see clearly.
