Product Information
The sequel to Take-Out Weight Curling slides onto PCs and features enhanced graphics, a multiplayer mode, and improved physics. Curling, the winter sport popular in Canada, Scandinavia, and the northern U.S., is a team game played on ice with "rocks." One team member releases the "rock" and, as it slides toward the bullseye target, teammates make adjustments with ice-brooms, though they are not allowed to touch the "rock." Each team takes turns, and the result is a strategic game with many nuances. Take-Out Weight Curling 2 offers four game modes including Single Match, Multiplayer, Bonspiel, and Career (all with adjustable difficulty settings). The 3D engine allows the camera to rotate, zoom, and pan in on the action, and teams can be customized by choosing such details as gender, faces, clothing, and more. Curling teams can play on four arenas including Local, Regional, Tournament, as well as a secret unlockable arena. Online multiplayer support is provided through GameSpy.
