Although it is particularly good as a tool to promote students' understanding of ethical issues, it is also useful for more experienced clinicians to revisit the complexities of the therapeutic, supervisory, and training relationships in which they engage., Corey, Corey, and Callanan is a superb introduction to numerous important topics in professional issues, professional ethics, and professional law. Throughout the book, the authors engage readers in a thoughtful, caring dialogue about crucial matters in the helping professions. They understand the contents of complex matters so well that they can present its basics while maintaining the integrity of those contents. I have used the book since its first edition in 1979 and look forward to using it again., . . . the most comprehensive text/manual in the field; useful for graduate courses at all levels; as reading material for in-service training and seminars; as a desk manual for professionals. The seller was very understanding and gave me a full refund for the damaged book, though it was no fault of their own. Other than the damage, the book was as described, the quality and condition aside from the damaged spot was like new. The cost of the book was reasonable. I would definitely purchase from the seller again.
