I recommend checking before install/glueing. I did it as instructed, installing it TO THE DOOR FIRST then adding the glue and installing the door card/panel after. It has held on very nicely and I’ve removed the door card and re-installed since with no issues. Nice solution to the common failure issues of the original plastic trim.
