Only problem is the output is NOT isolated-the input ground is carried through and tied to the output ground, so if you wanted to use this to isolate the ouput supply, you're out of luck. Seller might mention this in the listing, as there are some applications where a truly isolated DC-DC is called for, and where this unit can NOT be used.

According to my vehicle wiring diagram, the red connected to ground or negative, and black connected to positive. One I did that the device started working.
