Not really a thick legging though more like a thermal pair of thick tights. very soft and stretchy and have a proper high waist which seems hard to find in leggings. Comfortable to wear. Great as thermal pj bottoms or under a dress.

When contacted, the seller neither gave an explanation nor an apology. Instead, they recommended I return the item to them at my expense. In other words, their error but my problem. Eventually resolved.
