There is a total of eight individual HDMI ports on the receiver. The HDMI inputs feature support for your 3D video and audio return channels. They also deliver network capability with your Ethernet line or home Wi-Fi connection. These input and output connections allow this receiver to handle every piece of equipment that makes your home theater unique.This 7.2-channel receiver also has a phono input. This allows you to connect it to your subwoofer, speakers, and turntable. This lets you enjoy the original sound of your vinyl albums with amazing clarity. You can also connect it to your television for a great home theater experience. With this Onkyo unit, you can connect the output from a Blu-ray or DVD to enhance sound effects, songs, and images. The Dolby Pro Logic audio delivers crisp, clean bass notes and treble that is free of distorted vibration. This Onkyo receiver features 135 watts per channel at 8 ohms. It has a frequency response of 20Hz to 20kHz. This ensures that the TX-NR809 receiver picks up digital radio signals as well as analog signals. It also features FTC return channel capabilities for the two driven channels. The TX-NR809 is also capable of upscaling connected devices to 4K Ultra-HD picture quality. Witness crisp, true-to-life colors projecting brilliantly straight into the living room. Use the home network capability to stream internet radio or audio from your PC through your theater speakers. This Onkyo digital audio system features a direct digital Bluetooth connection to your iPod or iPhone. You can connect your smartphone or music accessories via the front or rear USB ports. This allows you to choose music from your MP3 player list and beam it through your home theater system. It also has a click-to-play mode, which allows you to stream music from your desktop or laptop computer. For convenience, this Onkyo product has its own apps so that you can connect your Android, iPhone, and other smartphones to it. There are few limits to what this 7.2 multichannel system can provide for your A/V experience. Control all of its functions from the convenient drop-down panel. This makes it easy to adjust between modes of operation. The remote control also allows you to adjust the volume of your component video system and to change the channels or input device. You can use the remote to control your attached audio and video equipment as well. The remote uses two standard AA batteries and operates within a 50-foot radius of the unit.The THX Select2 Plus certification of this Onkyo is primarily specified for rooms with a screen-to-seat viewing distance greater than 10 or 12 feet. This allows you to enjoy the optimal video clarity and audio immersion angle. It is also considered optimal for delivering music when the room volume is around 2,000 cubic feet. This 41-pound unit measures 17.1 inches long by 17.1 inches wide by 7.8 inches deep.

    Purchased a REL HT1205. It was priced fairly and the pictures were a good representation of the visual condition. It was well packaged with several inches of padding all around it. Package arrived quickly and works as stated. I will be purchasing again from this company. When buying used used electronics appearance is only one part of the equation. You need a company that actually tests what they sell.
