It has an appealing design with dramatic curves and angles and a small full-color display at the top. This LCD GamePanel tilts to suit your optimum viewing angle, and it displays video replays, game statistics, and system settings. Even if you're sitting in a dark room, you'll be able to see your keys distinctly thanks to strong backlighting. You'll also gain the advantage of a dozen G-keys that are designed to be programmed for your preferences. It's quick and easy to attach other devices via USB. It's a breeze to set macros to help improve your gaming skills. The hardware is non-mechanical and is compatible with both Windows and Mac OS. The power supply, which is included, uses 110V of electrical current, which is standard in the U.S. The backlight color can be changed to suit the taste of the user. The Logitech G19 connects to the computer via USB but has two powered USB 2.0 ports onboard, providing convenient connections for peripherals such as mice. It includes an optional wrist rest that can be attached if desired.A standout feature of the device are the 12 programmable G-keys. Each of them can be programmed with up to three macros. That’s 36 separate complex activities, including mouse clicks, which can be set to a single keystroke, providing you with a major competitive edge. With an enemy in your sights, a well-timed macro can be the difference between victory and defeat. It also features a mode switch, which will disable operating system hotkeys, reducing the chance of accidentally leaving the game at a critical moment.This isn’t just a gaming controller. The backlight and screen are features that are useful in any low-light environment. Workers in offices where lighting is kept at a low level would benefit from lighted keys and buttons. Home users who work in darkened rooms to prevent keeping others awake would find the feature useful as well. Users who undertake repetitive tasks will find a macro can be beneficial.The attached LCD is a tiltable 320 by 240 monitor with a color depth of 65,536 colors, which gives an at-a-glance view of gaming stats.
