Synopsis
This introduction to algebraic geometry makes particular reference to the operation of inversion and is suitable for advanced undergraduates and graduate students of mathematics. One of the major contributions to the relatively small literature on inversive geometry, the text illustrates the field's applications to comparatively elementary and practical questions and offers a solid foundation for more advanced courses. The two-part treatment begins with the applications of numbers to Euclid's planar geometry, covering inversions; quadratics; the inversive group of the plane; finite inversive groups; parabolic, hyperbolic, and elliptic geometries; the celestial sphere; flow; and differential geometry. The second part addresses the line and the circle; regular polygons; motions; the triangle; invariants under homologies; rational curves; conics; the cardioid and the deltoid; Cremona transformations; and the "n-"line., A small village on the rocky coast of Maine one day finds itself shrouded in thick fog. The shivering villagers do not listen to the advice of a small girl and instead turn to the ageless baker, butcher, and candle maker for thier help in riding them of the fog. Only after the three have had no success in getting rid of the fog do the villagers listen to the little girl. This story underscores the importance of community and the joys of finding answers in the most unlikely places and forms.

The item was exactly as described, clearly listed, and fairly priced. Communication from the seller was prompt, polite, and helpful, with dispatch confirmed quickly. The parcel was securely packaged and arrived in excellent condition, ahead of the expected delivery date. Care was taken at every stage of the process. I would be happy to buy from this seller again—many thanks for a reliable and well-handled sale.FINLAND AND EUROPE: INTERNATIONAL CRISES IN THE PERIOD OF By Juhani Paasivirta (N° 335694307643)
- 0***t (10)- Feedback lasciato dall'acquirente.Mese scorsoAcquisto verificatoItem was exactly as described and packaged to protect it. Seller’s pricing was spot on and when I received it, it was in good condition. Seller actually messaged me when they shipped it (I really appreciated that). Overall I’m happy doing business with them!
- t***s (45)- Feedback lasciato dall'acquirente.Ultimi 6 mesiAcquisto verificatoThe Item itself I rate five stars. The seller, however, I stop at four stars. The seller met two out of three categories I look for when judging my purchasing experience: how well it was packaged, how quickly it was shipped, and how properly it was described; this seller provided prompt shipping and an accurate description, but failed when it came to packaging. The item arrived in a plastic bag without any reinforcement or protection whatsoever and suffered dinged corners on multiple fronts.
