The bowl was exactly as described, packaged and protected with great care. The bowl was actually less expensive than the first one we bought that wasn’t packaged well and was damaged in shipping. I am happy that it is an excellent replacement for the MA Hadley bread plate that my contractor accidentally broke. My grandmother had an entire set of these dishes and canisters, platters, and water cooler, but I kept this little bread plate as a memento. I'm thankful I was able to find a good replacement. The seller even included a thoughtful note.
