Featuring spectacular homes in this picturesque community, the show concentrates on the experiences of two families - the Cohens and the Coopers - and an incompatible newcomer, Ryan Atwood (Benjamin McKenzie), a troubled teenager, who is absorbed by the Cohen family and introduced to their wealthy lifestyle. The series follows the uneasy lives of Sandy (Peter Gallagher) and Kirsten Cohen (Kelly Rowan) as they struggle to manage their own complicated lives and reel in the difficult Ryan. Borrowing its name from its setting - a rich neighborhood in Orange County, California - this unrated drama features intense emotional interactions, palpable suspense, and an engrossing storyline.
