I have not installed the Edelbrock 2696 adapter yet, but I know from past experience it will work as intended. This adapter is recommended by Edelbrock when installing their carburetors on a stock spread bore intake manifold. It appears the quality has improved in the last 25 years since I first used this product.

If anyone is needing and adapter for a Quadrajet this a quality product that would make an addition to your engine.
