Not easy to work on as Im sure some of you owners are aware, as a matter of fact there are a lot of techs that'll turn you away. These machines are out together like clockworks, AKA hard to maintain. Anyway, I sent Micky my PMD-222 that was pretty beat up. He was able to replace a side panel, belts, tune up. Result was a like new machine that'll hopefully last another life. It’s so nice to find someone who works on those machines. The shipping and processing was smooth. The seller let me know when my machine arrived, what work he performed, and when he shipped it back to me. If I had another Marantz portable, I’d ship it to him immediately; unfortunately, I have only one: the one he repaired.
