There are 4 different bushings for the Lincoln Continental and kit selection depends upon year being repaired; as well as which end of cable needs bushing (transmission or gear shifter). The SI2kit as you ordered does indeed fit gear shifter end of cable on:This repair kit fits the following vehicles:Lincoln Continental(Automatic transmissions only. Fits interior end of the cable nearest the shifter.)199
