Kalypso Media's Dungeons turns the tables on traditional dungeon-crawling hack-and-slash titles by putting gamers in the role of an evil Dungeon Lord whose goal is to capture treasure hunters in elaborate, torturous traps. Unfortunately, the protagonist in Dungeons is betrayed by his scheming ex-girlfriend, and players must help him claw his way back to the bottom of the dungeon world to reclaim his title as the foremost of all Dungeon Lords.<br><br>Three new Dungeon Lords stand in his way, but during the course of the 17-mission campaign, gamers can enlist the help of a variety of humorous minions, including goblins, skeletons, and slime. There are more than a dozen different monsters to unleash, ten unique heroes to battle and capture, and over 300 objects for creative players to use when designing their ideal dungeon. In addition to the story mode, players can also take on the "Sandbox" mode where they can create dungeons, guard treasure, and capture adventurers at their leisure.
