Per the listing, the stock you get will either be Clarostat, Memcor Truohm, or Mallory. This value, we only have the Memcor Truohm available. If the resistor is getting hot, then you are most likely not using a high enough wattage and need to get one that is larger. I will message you about it to make sure you see it. Thanks!
