Product Information
ZIM is an outcast from the planet Irk, from which he was unwittingly exiled after he almost blew it up; the leaders devised a scheme to get rid of him, sending him on a faux mission to take over the faraway planet Earth, assuming he would never reach it. Against all odds he did, and proceeding to adopt a paper-thin disguise which only the paranoid youth Dib can see through, and nobody believes him anyway. The two become arch enemies as Dib tries to prevent the Earth's destruction by the bumbling, misanthropic alien, while ZIM, with the help of his defective robot GIR, attempts to destroy mankind.Created by Jhonen Vasquez, the mastermind behind the darkly absurd comics "Johnny the Homicidal Maniac" and "Squee," both of which are longtime favorites with a broad underground fan base, INVADER ZIM quickly followed suit and garnered a cult following as well. This DVD includes the notorious "Invader ZIM Christmas Episode," plus 9 episodes intended to air during the original run, but never seen due to the show's cancellation.
