Since its first publication to mark the bicentenary of the French Revolution in 1989, this Oxford History has established itself as the Revolution's most authoritative and comprehensive one-volume history in English, and has recently been translated into Chinese. Books dust jacket was in far worse condition than shown in the pictures could have been because how it was packaged. While it was shipped promptly, the package was a simple bubble mailer. For collectible books such as this, I’d expect it in a box. I ship books with media mail too and it doesn’t cost any more to use a box instead of plastic mailers.
