The 12 point set up of the Gold Tone CC-50 results in precise intonation and easy fingering.. Being a beginner level banjo, this Gold Tone 5 string banjo is designed for easy learning. With a maple neck, this Gold Tone banjo is really comfortable to play, adds stability and lasts long. A crisp tone is provided by this Gold Tone banjo which has a small brass tone ring fitted at the rim. Its open back design allows you to play in the style of olden times. If you want to play Bluegrass music, then you can add an optional resonator to the Gold Tone CC-50. A straight line type tailpiece in this Gold Tone 5 string banjo allows for more stable tuning.
