Synopsis
Mucking up the pages of the New Yorker , the New York Times , Rolling Stone , Forbes , the Atlantic Monthly , Blab , and more, Gary Baseman has populated the finest publications with his inimitable brand of illustration. Now Dumb Luck , presents the first complete collection of his work, spanning more than ten years. According to Baseman himself, his art inhabits "that muddy spot where the line between genius and stupidity has been smudged beyond recognition." Dark and dopey, hokey and heartbreaking, his world is populated with freaky folks, maimed bunnies, weird wiener dogs, and anthropomorphic ice-cream cones that yearn and burn just like we do. Baseman's particular genius lies in capturing those ridiculous and all-too-often appalling aspects of being human. Hilarious testimony to the mind of its creator, Dumb Luck is both an art manifesto and a raw celebration of idiocy.

- i***n (924)- Feedback lasciato dall'acquirente.Ultimo annoAcquisto verificatoI was back and forth on neutral or positive feedback. Seller does not respond to messages. Books dust jacket was in far worse condition than shown in the pictures could have been because how it was packaged. While it was shipped promptly, the package was a simple bubble mailer. For collectible books such as this, I’d expect it in a box. I ship books with media mail too and it doesn’t cost any more to use a box instead of plastic mailers. Book did arrive though and the pricing was reasonable.Fairyloot The Forest Grimm by Kathryn Purdie Exclusive Edition Digital Signature (N° 176931227352)
- 5***a (0)- Feedback lasciato dall'acquirente.Ultimi 6 mesiAcquisto verificatoEverything came as promised and the books are in good condition. There was some issues with the tracking number, but they were good about communicating with me on it when I reached out. The second package showed up on my door step unexpectedly after 5PM that day. I would buy from this seller again.
