The packaging was not as sturdy as I was expecting. Only a single box. It was shipped in original Yamaha box but risky for such a fragile item. Fortunately, instrument was not damaged in shipping. However the box it was shipped in sustained heavy damage in transit. Buyer beware. Because the experience was seamless from beginning to end I have no problem giving seller positive review.
