The seller wrapped it up safely. The blade was also wrapped and taped up for safe handling. The item came as described. Although the Finish seemed to be more of a Matte finish, as opposed to the freshly painted look in the photos. Not an issue, the finish looks more original to the age and patina of an Authentic M7 bayonet from the Vietnam Era. More collectible like this. Great Value 4 my M7 Collection.
