Product Information

Protagonist Matthew Holmes has reached the harsh Arctic Circle in search of his father who was lost in the ice and snow there 30 years ago. His only clue is a cryptic telegram message about something known as the "Herculania." Holmes obsessively presses forward and eventually becomes separated from his party and gets hopelessly lost. Near death and in a dreamlike state, he sees a ship approaching on the horizon, a ship bearing the name Herculania. He climbs aboard.<br><br>The dream continues as he finds the ship to be a magical, surreal place filled with mysterious equipment and strange, futuristic technology. He discovers the Neurographicon, a device that holds the beautiful Claire Moon captive. In fact, there are several passengers trapped in the pod-like device that seems to be powered by the energy of their souls. Using full 360° movement and animation, you explore the prisoners' lives through dreams, ghosts and visions.<br><br>Morpheus features full-motion video sequences and an exclusive mouse-driven interface. Four years in production, the game centers on a mystery surrounded by intrigue and danger played out in a variety of graphically unique worlds on three CDs. Gameplay options include volume control (music and sounds), customization of window size and toggles for high or low resolutions and transition movies.<br><br>Will Matthew Holmes find salvation or damnation as he explores the wrecked lives of the unfortunate trapped souls on the Herculania? Enter the world of Morpheus and help him discover his fate.
