Doyne Farmer and Norman Packard may never have read The Wall Street Journal, but they happen to be among the founders of the new sciences of chaos and complexity. Thomas Bass first made readers aware of Farmer and Packard in The Eudaemonic Pie, in which he chronicled their assault on the casinos of Las Vegas. It's such a large series that buying it individually on my own would have been a real pain. So built in value right there. The seller took a little while but stayed within the promised shipping time frame. Shipping was quite reasonable considering it was a box with 22 books. The books themselves were in good condition, just as described. The seller was very good about communication. They smell a little musty like they've been in a garage but other than that everything was good. The shipping was excellent as well as the package, it came with fragile written on the sides which I appreciated. The price was amazing as well. Each book is $20 brand new and I got three for approximately $35. I would buy from this seller again.
