Although SCSI didn't catch on in the same way as IDE/ATA, I still have a few CD-ROM drives, hard drives and Zip drives that are SCSI, and which I used with an Amiga 1200. With this card, I can use them with my A5000. Since getting a reliable IDE replacement has been difficult, I'm hoping that this card will do the job.
