The previous bakelite cap fractures just dropping it. It was vulnerable as it had a cut out to clear the stop post on the 11 o'clock Elmar. I was exploring all sorts of ways to make a similar cut out on this brand new cap, but find I don't need to as it fits snugly and sits well enough even when not fully home on the front of the lens. Neat packaging. Prompt delivery. Thanks.
