Though Betty Boop originated as a dog character in the Fleischer Brothers' 1930 film short DIZZY DISHES, the doe-eyed flapper soon evolved into the first animated screen siren with her trademark boop-oop-a-doop style. This collection offers four volumes of Betty's vintage black-and-white cartoons: AMERICA'S SWEETHEART, which features characters Koko, Bimbo, Pudgy, and Grampy; THE WORLD'S FIRST FEMALE SUPERHERO, in which Betty meets the Little King and Wiffle Piffle; HER WILDEST ADVENTURES, which includes shorts such as "Training Pigeons," "Not Now," "We Did It," and "Baby Be Good;" and THE AMAZING WORLD OF BETTY BOOP, presenting six more Betty adventures.
