I have a manual 96 mustang GT with a T45 transmission and this was absolutely necessary. I tried buying the mount specified by rockauto but this specific iteration of the car REQUIRES the offset mount. I didn't want to get a whole new cross member to allow me to use that mount so I ended up here. Seems to be the only place I can find making the exact, right, oem replacement mount. To quote others, cut your losses and just get the right part.
