I applied a little glue and all is good, problem solved. The material is a bit more fragile than I had expected but will do for what it is intended to. For the price I would have liked something a little more durable.

Unfortunately one of the merfolk’s spear arrived broken. I immediately contacted the seller and they sent another. Customer service is A+. The replacement had a similar break and the seller offered to resend again. I opted not to get another since that particular model’s spear is so thin anyway. Overall pleased with the purchase but will be sticking to molded plastic minis for tabletop use.
