Difficult to know if screwed on completely or level with self-application. I assume the backs won't screw on if not lined up. Posts are very long, not allowing earring to remain flush to the ear. Gives an odd floating appearance. Keeping the clear backs on with screw back seems to stop "the float". I do recommend.

The backs are very, very tiny, and a challenge to work with, but a nice price. At todays gold prices, price and quantity of gold (in the backs) is a trade off, but I would pay for an option to get a larger back. Once I get them on they seem very secure. (I've worn them for 2 days, not at night however). My main goal was a nice, secure earring as I have lost too many, and these are that. Thank you!
