It was wrapped a few times in newspaper and placed in a large box with brown packing paper loosely around it. There was ample space in the box for the heavy 1.5 pound stone to knock around and it took quite a beating. Upon contacting seller, they blamed the postman for not handling the package with care. I have been buying stones/minerals online for years and have never received a stone this damaged/poorly packaged. Super disappointed. As I mentioned before, during transit, accidents can happen because packages are often handled carelessly. This can happen to anyone at any time.
