If you pull out the knob, it pops out halfway. If you pull it all the way to extend fully like it's supposed to- it resists and pulls back to first pop position. So I can't really use it because I can't get my fingers behind it to hold it. I'm guessing I'll take the loss, but I really didn't want to have to buy another one.
