Incidentally, it works very well on the Contax Zeiss Sario-Sonnar 80-200mm F4 lens, I have the 67mm filter size hood, and using it with a step-up ring. It barely adds any vignetting, I measured +0.7EV to the natural vignette of the lens at the wide end, and no extra vignette at all at the tele end. Highly recommended. BTW, very good seller, highly recommended.

Knowing that Nikon's hood length is 73mm, I ordered the 62mm thread size (same as lens filter) thinking the ebay ordered hood length was likely 60 to 70mm. After it arrived in good time (ahead of scheduled delivery), it measured a little more than 60mm, about 1/2 inch (13mm) less than Nikon's, a good length. And, I have a hood when I'd likely pay more whenever it may become available.
