It arrived well packed, as described and identifies as an "Broadcom / LSI SAS2008 PCI-Express Fusion-MPT SAS-2 [Falcon] (rev 02)". I tested in Windows to check it, was able to boot to its BIOS to check it's in IT mode and have now installed in my UnRaid machine. 8 drives all up and running with no issues. Very pleased with purchase so far and hope it continues to do so (with a little help from an external fan)
