NotesJourney is the exploration of music for the plucked instruments (lute, baroque guitar and theorbo) written by some of the most prolific composers of the 17th and 18th c., among them Kapsberger, Visee and Weiss. It is also a life-long journey's retrospective through the musical explorations of Darko Karajic, one of southern Europe's leading lutenists. Involved with early music since the mid-1980s, Mr. Karajic is the founder of Anonimus, an ensemble focusing on the authentic performance of Western European Baroque music, and Levant, an ensemble that explores Byzantine and Medieval music.
