The rose that it comes with seems to be the same as many other shop bought light fittings, which means I hopefully won't have to fit a new support bracket but be able to use the one from the previous light. The braided cable flex is plenty long enough, I will need to cut it in half. It frays a bit when stripping back so have some small scissors to hand. The ceramic connector is tight so long nose pliers needed.
