This amplifier has a very low noise to signal ratio, maybe half or less of other amplifiers. The low noise ratio makes this item a good value. The knobs used to adjust the gain controls of the amplifier are easy to accidently break off, with a regular 1/8" screwdriver tip.

I did lots experiments with this & another amp which is fixed at 18db and does pretty good. I already added a 6' rear element to the antenna favoring TV channels 2 - 7. At 1st, the 30db unit had reduced signals at 0db attenuation (maximum gain), simply too much RF for here! Then lowered it 5db w/some improvements. Then another 5db, now -10db giving a 20db total gain with good results. Adjust to find a balance👍

So Mr. Frank recommended an outdoor signal booster. I installed it according to the instructions. Scanned for channels caught all 51 channels. Still having trouble catching one of our favorite channels but I feel that I can figure it out. Mr. Frank was very helpful and knowledgeable. Communication was excellent. Would recommend this seller.

Awesome price and haven't used yet! I am going to order a antenna from here as soon as possible, just need to upgrade my cheap antenna, that works, but after communications with the Wiz ,I need a better antenna were I'm located! In a valley! Great communication Awesome and knowledgeable! Will be back for one of his antennas ! Highly recommended Thanks Lee
