Great for wide bindings on quilts even though the turn under is only 1/4". Also wonderful for jelly roll rugs - you do need to have 1 1/2" batting strips. For that I just trim my 2.25" batting strips down to 1 1/2" and then you don't get that 'extra fat side' as you do normally when making them. Just remember not to sew down the middle of the strip as the turn under isn't that wide - I will go 1/8" in. Does the exact same things as costlier versions
