Product Information
Blade is based on the movie starring Wesley Snipes as the Marvel Comics character that is half-man, half-vampire. With assistance from his friend and mentor Abraham Whistler, Blade has vowed to rid the world of all vampires. As Blade and in later missions Whistler, you must traverse foreboding towers, buildings, and streets in an effort to cleanse the world of evil. Played from a third-person perspective, Blade involves fighting a variety of enemies including vampires, henchmen, militia soldiers, police, zombies and SWAT soldiers.<br><br>Vanquishing your enemies involves using one of the following five weapons: a double-edged Japanese sword, handgun, shotgun, the multi-launcher and machine pistol.In order to use the ranged items, however, ammunition must be obtained. There are four kinds including standard, carbon, explosive, and silver. To help determine which ammo is appropriate for a particular enemy, you can check their color-based genetic makeup. Yellow represents a monster, green is human, while red represents a vampire.<br><br>Blade can also collect health supplies scattered around the levels to help in his mission. These include serum, serum packs, thickening coagulant, health boosters and medi-kits. While the first three items restore much needed strength, the latter two replenish lost health. The world of Blade also contains fourteen inscribed plates known as glyphs that are used to open things in the library. In addition to these items, weapon parts are also hidden throughout the levels. When these items are found, Whistler can use them to alter and manufacture new equipment for Blade.
